I use a book to remember to fly at an altitude of an even thousand plus 500 feet on a heading from 180° to 359° and of an odd thousand plus 500 feet on a heading from 0° to 179°.

I’ve always used ZERO-“0”DD to 179 is ODD. I just add DD to the 0 gives me ODD. Works for me.
